About Us

Our roots started in airborne video downlinks for radio controlled (RC) airplanes and helicopters for hobbyist and for commercial aerial photography using RC helicopters.

Going back to 1986 our history starts with Ed Mitchell who introduced micro video cameras and 434MHz AM video transmitters under the name of Micro Video Products. Ed's experience as an electronic and mechanical engineer for McDonnell Douglas plus a helicopter pilot for the US Army contributed to the development of our early RC airborne video downlinks.

About 1987 Monte Salot packaged up the first complete ready to use RC airborne video downlinks and introduced it to the RC industry. Monte has been an active RC flyer since 1980 and has been active with ATV (Amateur Television), since 1969. His love for RC airplanes and ATV made the perfect match to design and build RC airborne video downlinks that would hold up to the rigorist vibrations and demands required for use on a RC aircraft and rockets.

About 1992 under the business name of PlaneTalk we introduced our 2.4GHz color broadcast quality airbiorne video downlink and virtural reailty glasses to the RC industry for both hobbyiest and commercial use.

About 1999 we decided to become an Internet based business under the name of Wireless Video cameras .com. We had maintained our leadership as the pioneer and founders of RC airborne video downlink and expanded into ground based video links. Our experience has also lead us to special projects and custom made systems for many companies world wide.

About 2003 Kendra Salot joined the business and headed the sales and marketing team which has broaden our horizon for usage into many new different application.

In 2006 we have grown and diversified into many different types of markets and offer our customers a wide variety of affordable wireless video systems for most all application. We offer 2.4GHz, 5.3GHz, 5.8GHz, 900MHz, FM, Analog, Digital, OFDM, C-OFDM, NTSC/PAL Video, Audio Mono, Audio Stereo, Data, Ethernet, and HD Video.
