BODY BOOM - Body Mounted Remote Camera System

The BODY BOOM is a revolutionary piece of professional videography equipment that is in a class by itself. The BODY BOOM is capable of raising and lowering from 1 inch, to 10 feet above the ground, and, has an electric motor driven pan and tilt camera mount with digitally programmable ramping speed control. BODY BOOM provides the operator with remote adjustable speed zoom, remote focus control, remote start/stop record, and remote camera wake up. The system was designed for use with HD, DV CAM and Mini DV camcorders. Allowing many the ability to use the cameras they already own. Remote viewing for the operator is provided by the built in 6.8 inch TFT monitor screen, and on board power supply that allows for 10 hours of shooting time.

BODY BOOM provides the fastest set up times between shots and the smallest footprint of any boom, or any jib arm in the business. Because the system is worn by the operator, the only floor space needed is the width of the operators shoes, and, the only time required to relocate the BODY BOOM, is the time it takes for the operator to walk to the new location, saving production companies time and money. The unique "Lightning Bolt" design of the system allows people to walk under the boom in crowded situations. Need a dolly or tracking shot? No problem. The BODY BOOM also works great on rollerblades! When space permits the operator can skate on his own, but when space is limited, the operator can simply be pushed by an assistant that is walking or jogging next to them providing smooth tracking shots, all the time retaining the ability to boom, pan, tilt, and zoom! No more need to lay down tracks for just one shot, the BODY BOOM allows for total creative freedom in a fraction of the time, and at a fraction of the cost. Our systems have even been used on ice for tracking shots of figure skaters and hockey players, putting the audience out on the ice with the athletes and allowing for unique never before seen footage!

Whirly Bird - Remote Aerial Camera System

Whirly Bird LLC the worlds leading manufacture of VTOL close range aerial filming systems is proud to unveil the future of VTOL UAV technology.  By realizing hobby helicopters are limited in payload capacity and dependability, and that larger 200 pound systems designed for agricultural applications, and industrial work, are to cumbersome and have vibration levels much to high for quality images or sensitive payloads, Whirly Bird has bridged the gap between the two with the WB 65 and WB 80 Tactical VTOL UAV helicopters.

The revolutionary new WB 65 and WB 80 helicopters form a solid and reliable platform for any light unmanned aerial mission. The WB Tactical Series has everything you need operational ranges of up to 800km (500 miles), useful payloads of well over 20 kg (45lb) and are based on a proven 2000 + hour zero-failure flight record. With it¹s reliable high performance there are dozens of possible configuration and payloads available for these multi-mission performers. The WB 65 and WB 80 are the perfect aircraft for your VTOL UAV or autonomous flight tasks.

GMS - Wireless C-OFDM Digital Link

C-OFDM Digital Video

C-OFDM - Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexed transmission technology provides a superior means of transmitting wireless information in high multipath environments. C-OFDM systems use 2000 coded carriers within the main signal, each carrier is coded modulated  for signal robustness. The loss of one or many coded carriers have no impact on the video received. Adjustable guard intervals minimize multipath interference. The system also uses Forward Error Correction coding, further increasing signal reliability. Multipathed signals are summed at the receiver, actually aiding in signal quality. C-OFDM systems have become the standard for transmission in Europe. C-OFDM transmitters involves three major components: A signal encoder, a modulator, and an RF transmitter. MPEG 2 is the industry standard for encoding an NTSC or PAL signal, the modulation scheme is C-OFDM.
